-Arnott's Famous Hiking Adventures take you off the beaten path to the
most amazing, remote and beautiful places on the Big Island.
-When Doug visited Cairns Australia and South Island New Zealand he
saw this type of adventure and realized there was nothing like it in Hawaii.
-These are not tours in big 50 passenger luxury coaches.....these
tours are in individual vans that have a max of 14 passengers to each driver/guide.
-Our tours offer vigorous physical activity. If you enjoy hiking rugged
terrain, or seeing endless vistas from mountain tops you'll enjoy our adventures!
-We can also arrange flights to see Lava flows when
they are in remote or unsafe areas.

Information
Expeditions
leave at seasonably adjusted time, between 9am - 3pm. We provide
comprehensive, educational and fun adventures! We require that you
sign a waiver of liability and we reserve the right to assess your
physical ability to partake of a given expedition.
Minimum numbers: Please note that on rare
occasions where we do not get at least four people for a tour we
reserve the right to cancel that tour and offer discounted seats
on the next tour. While this happens infrequently, it can occur due
to weather, events or travel restrictions and we are advising you
of a remote possibility. Less than minimum numbers can also make
up the $$ value to cause a tour to go.
** Reservations, to be confirmed must be guaranteed by credit
card or advance payment. 48 hours notice of cancellation is required
and you may be charged if an otherwise full seat is left empty because we turned others away.
