Our Simple Studio is one of our most requested rooms, with a private bathroom, kitchenette, and air conditioning. Do you like to cook? The kitchenette has a two-burner stove, toaster, microwave & dishware. Shop at the Hilo Farmer's Market for fresh local produce and cook your meals! The Simple Studio is suited for guests who enjoy the open layout of a studio, with a kitchenette/bar in the room. Parking is right next to your room for easy luggage handling. This room is located in our 6-bedroom House, which is 200ft. (60m) from the main Lodge in a vibrant tropical lawn/garden setting. We have only one room in this category.

You can pick up groceries in town and cook your own meals in the well-stocked kitchenette. All of our kitchenettes are equipped with a stovetop, microwave, toaster, pots/pans, and dishware for your use. Each bedroom in this suite is equipped with a fan.
Our no-frills prices do not include daily room service or linen changes. You may request full service housekeeping at an extra charge (inquire at the front desk).
Fresh linens & towels are available at the front desk upon request or with our housekeeper.

She was an excellent driver too and we felt super safe with her. The views were out of this world. We were nervous because the road was initially closed when we left for the trip, but they opened back up very quickly after we got to the visitor center. Keep in mind... read more not all companies do. Also a plus they use a laser pointer instead of manual telescopes. This is way faster as the whole group gets to see much more than it would if you each took a turn. Bring food if going during spring or summer since you probably will get back to hotel after the kitchen closes.
