Our suites are ideal for families or groups. They include lockable bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, living room & bathroom.

WHAT WE OFFER ON THE TOUR

RESTRICTIONS ON THE TOUR
This tour is not recommended for anyone with heart or respiratory problems, high blood pressure, motion sickness, back pain, pregnant women, children, anyone in poor health, or anyone who has scuba-dived within the last 48 hours.
We strongly recommend that you not take this tour if you have indulged in alcohol to excess the night before or if you have had any alcohol to drink the day of your tour.
You must be 13+ to take this tour.
As a general health indicator, all guests must be able to walk at least 100 yards briskly and climb into the van unaided.
If you have a health condition that you believe may be affected by altitude changes, or if you are unsure, please consult your doctor before booking this tour.
Step stools are rated for 250 lbs/115 kg, and guests must be able to occupy a single-seat space.

Cancellation Policy:
Notice: If you have booked through a third-party, you may be subject to a different cancellation policy than listed below. Check with your booking site for your cancellation policy.
For guests who book directly: Your credit card will be charged full price for your accommodation/tour when a reservation is made. All cancellations will be charged a $49 booking fee. If you cancel within 48 hours of your check-in date, you are not eligible for a refund. There will be no refunds on no-shows of accommodations and tours. There will be no refunds for early check outs. All reservations are collected in full at the time of booking.
By agreeing to our terms and conditions you allow Arnott’s Lodge to charge your credit card for smoking, damages or incidental charges incurred to your room. If you are paying by debit card an incidental deposit will be charged upon check in ranging from $150-$350 depending on the type of room that you booked.
For tour reservations, please call or email to reconfirm the departure time within 12 hours of your reservation. It may change without notice or even be cancelled due to severe weather. We take no responsibility for advising you of cancellation if you do not call in or leave us a viable contact number. Please check in at the front desk 20 minutes prior to the tour’s departure. If you have scheduled a tour pick-up location, you may check in by calling the front desk at 808-339-0921 between 9:00am and 5:00pm Hawaii Standard Time.
All participants of our Mauna Kea Tour need to be at least 13 years of age in order to go to the summit. Our Mauna Kea tour is not recommended for pregnant women, people with heart/respiratory problems, and those that have scuba dived within 24 hours.
Please present this confirmation email upon your arrival at the front desk, along with a current government issued I.D. Any changes/cancellation to your reservation must be done by email or by phone. For tour reservations please call to reconfirm the departure time within 24 hours of your reservation. It may change without notice.
Our front desk closes at 5:00 pm. No late check ins after 8:00pm. Any check-ins requested after 8:00 p.m. will be assessed a fee of $20 per half hour. Please note that if your flight arrives in Kona (KOA) after 6:00 p.m., that you will not be able to make it to our lodge in Hilo in time for check-in. We will not accept check-ins after 9:00 p.m.
