When Doug visited Cairns, Australia and South Island, New Zealand, he saw this type of adventure and realized there was nothing like it in Hawaii.

• Arnott's Famous Adventures take you off the beaten path to the most amazing and beautiful places on the Big Island.
• These are not tours in big 50 passenger luxury coaches.  These tours are in individual SUVs or 14-passenger vans.
• Our tours offer a variety of physical activity. If you enjoy hiking rugged terrain or seeing endless vistas from mountain tops you'll enjoy our adventures!
• Check out our regular schedule below. Please note that we may offer other tours during the summer than are pictured here. We also occasionally offer a Mauna Kea Daytime tour as a special occurrence. Our Mauna Kea Summit tour is available on a regular schedule, and our other tours may be available as private tours only at this time. Please inquire if you are interested in a private tour.

Arnott's Lodge Adventure Tours Schedule

General Information

Our tours currently require a minimum of 2 guests to run a tour, unless you have scheduled a private tour.

Tours leave at seasonably adjusted times, between 8am - 3:30pm (depending on the tour). We require that you sign a waiver of liability and we reserve the right to assess your physical ability to partake of a given tour.
*Reservations must be confirmed and guaranteed by credit card or advance payment. 48 hours notice of cancellation is required.  We have a 48-hour cancellation policy on accommodations and tours.  There will be NO refunds on tours for No-shows or cancellations within 48 hours of the reservation.  Any cancellations outside of the 48-hour policy will be refunded the full amount minus a $40 booking fee for accommodations and tours booked.
